The tail rotor can be assembled in both directions of rotation for the left or right side in the direction of flight. Later conversion to another direction of rotation or another side is possible.
It is available with 8mm hollow bored, case hardened and ground tail rotor shafts in 3 different lengths and two, three, four and five blade hubs.
The bevel gears have cyclo-palloid gearing module 0.6 diameter 23.3mm and the tooth flanks are induction hardened.
The tail rotor fits on the M-Copter mounting flange and with the adapter it can be retrofitted on a Vario mounting flange.
Our “mounting flange” is available in the “normal” version (to resin into the fuselage), for 24mm tubes (Schwing system) and for 25mm tubes (Vario system).

When assembling, the rear housing cover can be left off for the time being. This gives an optimal view of the bevel gears and makes it very easy to adjust the backlash and the position of the bevel gears perfectly.
In addition, the gearbox can be checked and greased every now and then without much effort.

Heckrotor für große Helicopter
The tail rotor has been extensively tested. It is intended for large helicopters with a rotor diameter of approx. 3-4 metres or large drones (take-off weight up to approx. 100 kg).
The bevel gears have module 1 and the tooth flanks are induction hardened.
